With the corporation of KHI, BMW, MV Agusta and MotoGP teams, MWR developed a new style, very exclusive customized air filters what increases the filter surface enormously. The shape of the filter is "adapted" to the air box to make it as big as possible. One of the reasons why MWR can't produce the WSBK filters for every bike. MWR is able to increase the filter surface from 50 – 100%, depending of the type of bike. More & bigger surface means less restriction, a better protection and the performance increase is in this case enormously. All WSBK filters are hand cut and hand glued. These new style WSBK filters are built with two different foam materials. One part of the filter is made from the same material which is used also for the road bike filters. The rest of the foam material is only for the full race filters. The road material is placed on a conscious place to create the same effect as the splitter plate of the MWR “HE” & “R” filters. Remapping the ECU or installation of a fuel module is necessary!
