The aim of synchronization is to ensure that all cylinders are filled with exactly the same mixture, thereby achieving:
Absolute pressure
The intake vacuum is displayed with bars and numbers for all active channels. The bar graph allows a quick assessment of whether there is a synchronization problem. With the adjustable, electronic display attenuation, you can dampen a restless display to such an extent that numerical values and bars are easy to read and the display still reacts quickly to changes. The current engine speed is always shown in the lower display area. This makes it easy to check that the target speed is being maintained during the measurement.
Differential pressure indication
For each active channel, the time course of the intake vacuum over all four cycles is displayed in a time-pressure diagram. Each measurement channel can be displayed individually for precise analysis. The pressure curve display shows leaks and valve errors, which can result in major engine damage and accidents.
Min-Max display (dynamics)
Not only the maximum intake vacuum, but also the range between maximum and minimum over the course of all four cycles should be approximately the same for all intake tracts. To do this, synX can record the entire pressure curve and display the range between the maximum and minimum values. Larger deviations between the cylinders indicate errors such as leaks.
Pressure progression
For each active channel, the time course of the intake vacuum over all four cycles is displayed in a time-pressure diagram. Each measurement channel can be displayed individually for precise analysis. The pressure curve display shows leaks and valve errors, which can result in major engine damage and accidents.
