Do you ride a classic Moto Guzzi, Ducati, or Moto Morini with a two-phase Saprisa alternator? Then the Elektronik Sachse REG2 is the perfect, modern solution for your charging system. This regulator was specifically developed for two-phase alternators with a center connection and offers adjustable charging voltage as well as a connection for the charging indicator light – ideal for classic and vintage motorcycles.
Technology that fits your bike perfectly
The REG2 is designed for alternators with two windings and a center tap on +B – a configuration commonly found on older Moto Morini and Moto Guzzi models with Saprisa generators, as well as on Ducati single-cylinder motorcycles. Thanks to the individually adjustable charging voltage, the system can be perfectly adapted to modern battery types, significantly improving your battery's lifespan.
Your advantages at a glance:
- Variable charging voltage: Perfectly adjustable for different battery types such as lead-acid, gel, or AGM.
- Supports a charging indicator light: For clear feedback on the charging status.
- Easy installation: Includes connector and 6.3 mm spade connectors – no soldering required.
- Compact size: 60 × 28 × 54 mm, 73 mm with mounting bracket – ideal even in tight spaces.
- Wide compatibility: Designed for Moto Guzzi, Ducati, and Moto Morini with Saprisa or other two-phase alternators.
Modern technology for your classic motorcycle
The REG2 combines reliable regulator electronics with a robust housing and straightforward installation. Thanks to its compact design and included connector, the regulator can be installed quickly. Whether for everyday use or long journeys, you'll benefit from a stable charging voltage and optimal battery power.
For Ducati: Use REG2 if there are two yellow and one red wire coming from the alternator.
